When trying to activate PATGuard 2 online you may get a fail message claiming that 'A connection to the Web Activation Server could not be established' yet your internet connection is fine and you can browse the web with no problems.
Please try to activate again but this time on the small activation window BEFORE selecting Activate Now, select 'Proxy settings' then UNCHECK the 'Use Proxy Server' checkbox and select OK. Then select Activate Now.
If you are still having problems activating please revert to one of the other activation methods available.
