Q. I get messages from Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 when a Remote Auto Schedule triggers

A.

Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 displays the following message each time PATGuard's e-Scheduler hands it an email from a triggered Auto Schedule with Remote schedule set:

"A program is trying to send an email message on your behalf. If this is unexpected, click Deny and verify your antivirus software is up-to-date.

For more information about e-mail safety and how you might be able to avoid getting this warning, click Help.

Options are: Allow, Deny, Help"

As the email is coming from PATGuard then it is Ok to select Allow. Unfortunately the message occurs for every email.

Currently, there is no way to suppress this message. In a future version of PATGuard we'll install a COM add-in into the Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 program that will add PATGuard into the 'Trusted add-ins' so that the message is suppressed.
