Yes, the evaluation program installs to a separate directory so it will not affect your full program installation and you can trial the new version, unrestricted, for 30 days.
For example, if you already have PATGuard Elite v1.0 installed and you would like to try the latest version you can download the latest evaluation from the PATGuard Elite Seaward web page and install it to any PC. If you install it to the same PC you will have both versions running side by side.
This is true for all PATGuard Evaluation programs - PATGuard Elite, PATGuard Pro, PATGuard Lite, PATGuard WorkAbout and PATGuard Time Manager.
Warning - If you open one of your existing databases in the evaluation version it will ask you to Upgrade the database - select NO as you will no longer be able to open your database in your previous version. If you would like to view one of your existing databases in the new version you must copy it first then Upgrade the copy only - the copy will not be openable in the previous version but the original database will not be affected.
