Q. Can I import my test data from other PAT testing software ?

A.

Yes PATGuard Elite, PATGuard Pro and PATGuard Plus programs allow data from existing PATS/PATS+, Safety 1st/Safety 1st+ and PATSwin databases to be imported.

                                               

Note - Only PATS/PATS+, Safety 1st/Safety1st+ version 5.4 or higher and PATSwin version 2 can be imported.

However data cannot be imported into an existing database, each import will create a new database containing the data from the legacy database.

To Import a database:

  • Open PATGuard
  • Select File.
  • From the File drop down box select Import.
  • Using the Browse window define the path to the directory where the database you wish to import resides. The OK button will only become available when a valid database is chosen. Select OK.
  • Another window appears for you to enter the new database name.
  • A log will be displayed after the import.
  • Your new database will be open.
