Introduction
Each download will create a new database file for which a file name is required. The program displays one database at a time. When a database is open Test Certificates can be printed for the Assets in that database. There is a special database for creating Test Sequences which can be Uploaded into the Tester. This can only be used with Supernova Plus and Europa Plus as these testers have the corresponding Upload facility.
Open a DatabaseOn starting the program the Startup Wizard has an option for ‘Opening an existing database’ select this option then ‘Next’ to choose an existing database file.
At any time while the program is running you can Open and view another database file. From the File drop down select Open then choose an existing database file (database files have an extension of mdb).

You will be required to enter a new database file name before the download can commence. Enter the file name and select the path if different from the default path, then select ‘Next’. The next dialog box has two fields; a COM Port and Bits per second. Ensure the COM port is selected that corresponds to where the download lead is plugged in. The Bits per second is set to the default of the tester. Don’t change this to another value unless it is also changed in the tester. Then select OK. Start the download on the tester. Refer to the tester Operating Instructions if you are unsure how to do this
The downloaded results will create the database structure consisting of Sites, Locations and Assets.

All printed reports will now have the new logo.
