PAT Test Labels

Is it "law" that the initials of the tester are correct. Sometimes our engineers pick up the wrong labels, the test reports always state the correct tester though

By saying tester initials I assume you mean the person carrying out the testing.

There is no requirements in the Electrcitiy At Work Regulations 1989 to label any electrical equipment. If you want more information I suggest purchasing the COP for In-Service Inspection & testing of Electrical Equipment (4th Edition).
