Postby Warren James » Tue Jul 09, 2013 12:53 pm

Hello Friends,

I want to connect RIGEL 288 safety test analyser to My Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Does any one know how do i connect to it and get result transfered into it.

Please let me know if, there are any Android APPs available for it or any other way we can get result into Samsung Galaxy Tab?

They're based on the same enclosure design, but they are quite different products.
The Rigel is an electrical safety analyzer for medical equipment, and does many things differently to 'normal' portable appliance testers.

Hi Warren James

I believe that my colleague from Rigel may have already replied to you on this in an email but please see her reply below for the benefit of other users:

The Med-eBase software transfers data via Bluetooth which simulates a
serial connection. For this reason it have the potential to work with
platforms other than windows. However at the present time this
compatibility has not tested by Rigel so it cannot be confirmed.

You can download Med-eBase for a free 30 day trial of the software from our
website at the link below which would allow you to test its compatibility
with your android platform before purchasing a fully licensed version.
Thanks and kind regards
