NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

Postby marsh0303 » Sun Mar 10, 2013 10:28 pm

I think the only way to describe this forum is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. What could be a useful resource is basically a total waste of space, most of the threads are in foreign language or broken English and are about anything other than PAT.

I would hope that Seaward take control of their service and make it in to something of use to those who share a common interest.

Best to all concerned

It certainly is a major issue for the forum, which needs sorting out properly.

There doesn't seem to be anything in place to block even the most obvious spam. Askimet works well for blogging software though don't know about the phpBB implementations. It certainly needs sorting out.

Hello,

We are currently testing a replacement system.

Meanwhile I have disabled sign ups and closing this topic as we have another one here http://www.seaward.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=56118

Sorry for any inconvenience.
