Results won't download to PC

basically I am unable to download any results from my tester. It just gets stuck on the 'Please start the transmission now...' stage.
I have followed the 'Application Note 008' help guide and checked the settings on Tester, Software & PC. Everything looks ok. I have even tried different PC's and different serial cables.
I have a Supernover Plus, PATGuard Elite 2 Software and running Windows XP Pro SP3.

Hope someone can help?

Hi Kyle
Are you using a serial - USB converter? If so is it the Easysync one supplied from Seaward? If not this may be the issue. Also please ensure to use the black RS232 lead supplied with the tester in series with the adaptor. Other things to check are that you have the correct COM port selected, that the BAUD rate is set to 9600 on the tester and the software and that you are downloading in SSS format. If you are still having issues please call our Technical Support line on 0191 5878718 with your tester set up ready for download.
