Jim

I know that developing new software takes time, and if things are happening -we'll wait..... but it would be nice to know if things are indeed happening in the background - or is it not happening??

Jim

I note that the firmware for ALL testes shows a "Last Modified" date of today, but the "Date Added" is still 7/2/11 and the revision level is still 28t for the Europa Plus.

Is this a new version with a fix for the above??

Hi Alan,

We are upgrading the website in certain areas and have temporary removed logging in before downloading files, this caused the modified date to change.

Thanks,
Gary

Hello all!

I have a Europa Plus tester with firmware 0.28n. Is the Europa firmware update on the website (28t) suitable for this machine?

Secondly, another enhancement request (if not already in the newest firmware) - can "Limit Calc" for earth tests of extension leads be updated to allow 30m of 1.5mm2 and 50m of 2.5mm2 cable? I know you can manually enter a limit in ohms, but this would be more convenient.

I'm thinking specifically of 30m JoJo reels and the like, but also 15A/16A stage lighting extensions where 30+m lengths are common.

Thanks & Kind Regards,
Marc

Is there any movement on this?? This topic has been open for 5 months now, and I still don't even know if anything is being done in the background - lat alone a new release issued.

If you are working on it, then fine, although an estimate of issue date would be good.

Alan - it is being worked on. I will post an update towards end of this week with an anticipated date and the modification that the next release will include.

Thanks

Hello Jim,

I'm beginning to get a bit annoyed about this one.

WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET AN UPDATE?

Hello Jim,

Just had to test a bucket of mains extensions, so it reminded me about the lack of multiple polarity tests on the Europa Plus.

When are we going to get some progress on this and other fixes suggested in this thread?
