Battery Life Problems (Primetest 350)

Would Seaward be willing to offer a free service to replace the contacts if they prove to be these old type, or provide the new contacts for competent owners to replace them themselves?

They sent me out replacement which I have now fitted. So far so good, ill post once they run flat and know how much improvement we got.

Your welcome - the new contacts are a different material type (the supplier is now supplying the material that we specified in the first place) so hopefully that's an end to your battery life problems.

After 1 charge the batteries lasted over 2 months/100 tests.

Once showing flat in PAT tester I checked the capacity of battery's and they were indeed flat.

The new terminals have solved our problem.
