I will look into the images that it asks you. I understand its good to keep the spammers out the forums but it shouldn't cause you problems signing up. Thank you for your comments.

I'm afraid it seems like the spammers are in and ruining the forum, maybe a mod or admin could do some deleting please? Cheers

I try keep on top of the forum on a daily basis but it seems we've had a few posts over the start of this week (typical as I was off Monday/Tuesday).

I'm going to look into other methods of stopping the spammers. If you ever see spam feel free to press the ! in their posts, it highlights spam a lot easier.

I know the problems you have with this as I'm fighting the same battles on other forums that I admin, but I've yet to find a foolproof system that they can't bypass.

Spam is always a problem and high ranking websites attract bots as they target sites such as ours to boost their own ranking.

I've changed the new user permissions so the users first 6 posts need to be approved. This should stop some of the spam and it shouldn't effect new users as I'm normally on the ball in approving/deleting messages.

Hopefully we should see reduced spam now. I've changed the registration CAPTCHA (letters and number picture) to a question and answer.
