Apollo 600 Load Power/Current

Postby pat4sb » Sat Jun 03, 2017 10:38 am

The specifications of the Apollo 600 mention the Load Power/ Current feature, with the following parameters:

Load Power/Current

Test Voltage 230V +10%, -15%, maximum load current 16A
Test Duration Programmable up to a maximum of 255s depending on load. i.e. max duration is reduced for high loads.
Display Range 0.00kVA – 4.00kVA
0.00A – 16.00A

This test is also mentioned in the user manual at the top of page 28.

Can someone state how this test is carried out, since it would be useful to know whether an appliance is working correctly (normal operating current) or the appliance is defective (high consumption current).

Haven't seen how an Apollo is configured for UK use, but it's antipodean brother, the Prime Test Elite displays current drawn by an item when running a current leakage test (either PE Conductor Current or Touch Current), and can be done as an individual "manual test". As the test sequences are "editable" can't see why you couldn't create a couple of "run" test sequences to suit your application

Have attached a screen grab of the test results report which lists current draw
