Apollo 600 Test

Postby pat4sb » Sun Apr 20, 2014 5:42 pm

Hi All,

The Apollo 600 manual mentions Power Socket Test on page 26 in section 15, (just before the RCD test). Can someone indicate how this is performed. I have tried to locate this test in the Apollo menu but could not find it. I think this is a useful test since it shows the condition of the power source when the Apollo is connected to mains.

Thank you for your enquiry.

Regarding the Power Socket Test, the Apollo 500 and 600 both check the input voltage ranges according to the specifications on page 26 of the manual, as soon as a power lead is applied to the instrument. If there is an issue the instrument will show an error, however, it does not display these values.

We have passed your suggestion, regarding displaying these values, over to our Product Managers for consideration in future enhancements of the Apollo.

Kind regards

Any progress on this? It would be really useful to have a record of:
(a) Outlet polarity
(b) Earth Fault Loop Impedance
(c) P- N Voltage

Hi southseas

Not at the moment. Have you registered your Apollo with us via our website? If so you will be kept up to date with new firmware as soon as it is released.
Thanks and kind regards
