Over the last 4years I have been coming across more and more counterfeit mains leads. Are there any sites where these are all published? I try to give as much information as possible to IT technicians so they can look out for these when supplied with new equipment. Would be great to get some photo`s on here of all the types that are out there. I have came across around 3 or 4 different types and they are getting better at copying too also finding cheap PSU's. I recently had to change 40 ice mains leads that were counterfeit and all passed last year by another company! Surely the bright blue fuses should have given it away, if they even unplugged them to test?

That is a great site, I have found a few now that help as they are definitely getting better at copying. Some have the correct fuses now and you can only tell by the slightest detail of printing of the CE marks or kite marks. The only way to be sure is too cut the flex.
I am coming across more replacement laptop chargers that just don't feel right, they are very light and the markings on them are not great. Some of them are being supplied by reputable companies too, which makes our job so much harder. I wouldn't like to take one of them apart, they might not have any insulation inside!

Here are a few recent finds:
