Yes, I know, it is old but it cost me £287 in 1997 - a fortune then (still is!).
I am trying to resurrect my IT1000 simply to test kit in my own house.
I am running XP Pro SP3. .
My PC doesn't have a 9pin serial socket. I have the original serial lead for the IT1000.
I have a Prolific serial/USB dongle.
The PC does not have a 3½" FDD. I have the original PATS program disk S.Nr SW5218.
Before I go to the faff of fitting a FDD am I likely be able to get the IT1000 to "talk" to the PC so that I can download the results?
What chance SEAWARD giving me a version of PATS on CD? No? Not surprised!
