Europa Plus Testcodes

I'm not sure about how to use the testcodes. I was hoping that you could compile a custom test, give it a title and have the Test & Tag printer print out a barcode label with the title so that you could produce a sheet of custom tests to select via the scanner? Trouble is although my Pass/Fail labels are printing fine, when I select print testcodes nothing happens. Any help/advice would be gratefully received.

Hi Kryten

The test n tag printer cannot print test codes - this is a legacy feature from the older thermal roll printer.

An alternative approach is to use the upload feature on PATGuard - you can up load the asset details, including hte test sequence from PATGuard into your Europa Plus. Then you simply scan the asset ID barcode label on the appliance, the Europa finds the appliance in its upload memory and automatically loads the appliance details, including the test sequence, ready for test.

We used to sell cards with barcoded test codes - I'm trying to track one done. If I can find one I'll scan it and send you it as a PDF.

Jim

If you find it and scan it, could you drop it on the download area of the web. I would also be interested - as I am sure would others!!

Hi Alan

I tracked down a "PAT Test Code" card but the test codes predate the Europa. I'm trying to find a way to easily generate a card which I will PDF and post on the website.
