Europa Plus repair

Postby wistian » Mon Jul 25, 2011 12:11 pm

I have just bought a Seaward Europa Plus on eBay which was delivered this morning.
On plugging it in, the message:

INTERNAL RELAY FAULT!
CANNOT PROCEED

(FAULT CODE 1)

THE EUROPA MAY BE TOO HOT. PLEASE
DISCONNECT THE POWER AND ALLOW THE
EUROPA TO COOL BEFORE RETRYING.

My question is, does anyone have an idea of the repair cost so I can decide if I should start a dispute on eBay or just get it fixed?

TIA

You would have been cheaper buying a new Europa. Phone seaward for a quote they know with the fault code ps be seated when you call them. The europa was probably faulty that`s how it landed on ebay.Supernova plus is the better tester you must remember that you are working with a box of electronics and when they do go wrong the bill is not cheap and they will only do x amount of tests before the relays fail. The seller is probably waiting for you to contact him i would ask for your money back inc postage
