Apollo 600 Firmware Update BT Problem

Postby Ford Prefect » Thu Jun 21, 2018 10:59 am

I've just updated my 600 to the latest firmware 4.0.5 (as advised) and I now can no longer attach to any Bluetooth device.
When I go into the main navigation menu Bluetooth is grayed out and pushing the number 3 button to access the settings does nothing.
Anyone else having this problem?
I've tried deleting the Bluetooth Favorites with no effect.
Looks like I'll have to go to my last firmware download and roll it back to v3. Good job I keep copies as I can't seem to find historical firmware files on the Seaward website, or am I just not looking in the right place? I'm losing a lot of testing time trying to sort this out :(

Sounds like the update has changed your user profile and taken away your admin privileges FP, did you clone your Apollo before doing the update thing?Try swapping to Admin profile and see what happens with the BT button.
