Hi James G

Depending where the picture was taken in the sequence it will appear either in the asset details screen (when you double click on an asset), or in the test details screen (when you double click a set of results in the asset details screen).

Thank you Amy
I didn't make my question clear I think, Im trying to copy and paste the jpeg image to be sent to our finance department so they can track the high value assets within our company. Does the database store theses images as jpg or in some other format and where ?

Many thanks

Jim

Hi James G

I see what you mean now. The photographs are stored in a table in the database and linked to the asset to ensure traceability. The only way to extract them would be to write code to do it. I have logged your request for feedback to be considered for future updates.

Still wondering how I can delete old Asset Pix, reasons include if an item "fails" and i would be helpful to include a picture to explain in a custom "Failed Item" report I provide post testing. If the item is subsequently repaired, I want to remove the pix of the damage, how is this done?

Surely the image files (JPG?) are stored in a folder somewhere, which the database table references?
